Mourners gather to remember fallen BK firefighter

DYKER HEIGHTS - Memorial services are being held Tuesday for one of the firefighters who lost his life in the Deutsche Bank building fire Saturday.

Friends, family and fellow firefighters are expected to gather at Torregrossa Funeral Home to remember Joseph Graffagnino of Dyker Heights. Mourners say Graffagnino will not only be remembered as a hero, but as a modest family man who was devoted to raising his two young children.

Monday would have been the firefighter's 34th birthday. A fellow New York firefighter, Robert Beddia, died fighting the Deutsche Bank blaze.
