Mourners say final goodbye to bus driver slain in BK

BROOKLYN - Hundreds of transit workers bid final farewells Monday to Edwin Thomas, the 46-year-old bus driver stabbed to death by a passenger last week.

A procession of bagpipe players led mourners to Sacred Heart Church. Dozens of city buses were also parked along the route as a tribute to Thomas.

"He's going to be greatly missed," says one transit worker.

Police say 20-year-old Horace Moore has confessed to the fatal stabbing.
