MTA announces new BK bus line

BROOKLYN - A new bus line is expected to ease transportation between downtown Brooklyn and other parts of the borough. The MTA announced the new route, which will connect the downtown area to DUMBO and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Business owners along the route say they are pleased for the sake of their employees and potential customers. The exact route and schedule has not been released, but state Sen. Daniel Squadron (D-25th District) says he will work with the MTA and the community to hammer out a fair compromise.
