BROOKLYN - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is restoring more than a dozen suspended bus routes, including a few in Brooklyn.

The B57 bus is back in service between Carroll Gardens and Red Hook and the B39 bus will be running against between Williamsburg and the Lower East Side. In Bensonhurst, a celebration rally was held by residents to celebrate the return of the B64 bus.

The lines were eliminated in 2010 following budget cuts.
