An MTA bus driver was struck and killed by a car while on his way to work in Brooklyn Tuesday. Transit union officials say James

BROOKLYN - An MTA bus driver was struck and killed by a car while on his way to work in Brooklyn Tuesday.

Transit union officials say James Neverson was hit at Alabama and East New York avenues. The driver stayed on the scene and police say no charges are being filed.

The 63-year-old had been a bus driver for more than 20 years.
