BROOKLYN - The B37 bus line is revving up for a return after being canceled three years ago.

Former stops along 3rd Avenue, from Fort Hamilton to Downtown Brooklyn, haven't seen a B37 since June 2010, but Councilman Vincent Gentile announced that the MTA will restore the route.

Transportation officials discontinued the service due to low ridership, but commuters, politicians and local business owners immediately formed the "Restore the B37 Bus Coalition" to reverse the change.

There is still no word on exactly when the buses will resume operation.
