Numerous events are being held this week to commemorate the Battle of Brooklyn.

Historians believe the battle was a turning point in the Revolutionary War.

Over the weekend, Brooklyn residents paid tribute to the 285 soldiers who died by reading their names, then marching to the site of the battle at Old Stone House.
