Mural honors East New York stabbing victim Tanaya Copeland
EAST NEW YORK - A mural has been designed to honor the life of an 18-year-old who was killed last month.
The mural of Tanaya Copeland is located at the corner of Linden Boulevard and Cleveland Street in East New York.
Monday marked one month since the nursing student was stabbed to death while walking to a friend's house.

Investigators are still searching for her killer.
Police say they are looking into a possible connection between Copeland's murder and the nearby stabbing of two children two days later.
