Narrows Botanical Garden robbed for 3rd time

BAY RIDGE - Volunteers at the Narrows Botanical Garden say yet another heist has taken place at the garden.

The garden's vice president says the crooks disarmed the alarm system and broke the padded lock on the garden's shed.

Volunteers say they're still trying to determine exactly what was taken.

Despite the break-in, the garden is still on schedule for holding a fundraiser tomorrow night with Food Network chef Daisy Martinez.

It is the third burglary in recent months. The first burglary occurred on Earth Day, when bandits ran off with thousands of dollars worth of plants and flowers.
