Nation's largest Bastille Day takes over Brooklyn

BROOKLYN - The nation's largest Bastille Day celebration took place in Brooklyn.

The eighth annual festival of all things French was on Smith Street between Bergen and Pacific Streets. Attendees sampled French cuisine, listened to French music and participated in French games. Eighty teams from around the world competed in the Petanque tournament.

Attendees say it was a great way to honor French culture and heritage.
