New all-boys charter school opens in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN - A brand-new all-boys charter school opens its doors for the first time today in East New York.

The Imagine Me Leadership charter school caters to kindergarten and first-grade students.

School leaders say the school will teach young men the fundamentals and begin the process to close the achievement gap.

More than 100 students will begin the academic year at the school.
