BROOKLYN - A beautiful new arch will soon welcome visitors to the Chinese community in Sunset Park.

The Friendship Archway is a gift from Beijing's Chaoyang District to Brooklyn's Chinatown, which is the the fourth largest Chinatown in the U.S., even beating out Manhattan. It will be placed on 8th Avenue between 64th and 65th streets.

The design includes nine roofs and four pillars, similar to what's often used in imperial Beijing structures.
