BROOKLYN - The new Brooklyn B-44 Limited Bus launches on Sunday.

The MTA is starting its new "select bus service," along the B-44 Limited Bus from Sheepshead Bay to Williamsburg. The bus will follow a new route containing fewer stops, making the commute a far shorter one for its residents.

This will be the borough's first "select line," running more than 9 miles long.

The new service also includes ticket machines at a number of stops, allowing commuters to get on board quickly and efficiently.

The buses will travel along newly designated lanes.
