BROOKLYN - A new bus service is being offered to travelers looking to go from Brooklyn to Washington D.C., or vice versa, without having to go to Manhattan.

The director of the newly licensed bus service, Shalonda Hunter, says after realizing how difficult it was to take a bus into Brooklyn, she came up with the idea for the new line.

Currently, Hunter says the buses are running Friday through Monday and that they can hold up to six bikes at one time.
