CONEY ISLAND - After decades of decay in the Coney Island parks, a revitalization plan is under way.

Valario Ferrari, President of Central Amusement International, says the company has been working to rebuild one of the Coney Island parks into a new 19-ride amusement park named after the original Luna Park from the early 1900s.

The 19 rides are expected to make their debut this summer. Central Amusement says it plans to open an additional four rides in the summer of 2011, including two steel roller coasters.
