New traffic rules could rid Church Ave. of parking headaches

BROOKLYN - New traffic rules on Church Avenue could make it easier for Brooklyn residents to find parking.

The Department of Transportation is creating designated morning hours for truck deliveries. This will create more parking spots on the avenue from East 16th to East 21st Street.

The DOT says by limiting the times for truck deliveries it will reduce double parking and make it easier for supplies to be delivered to businesses.
