New York Aquarium to partially reopen for first time since Superstorm Sandy

BROOKLYN - The New York Aquarium will partially reopen late this spring for the first time since Superstorm Sandy.

The Wildlife Conservation Society announced that the opening will include the main exhibit hall, Glover's Reef, outdoor sea cliff spaces and a fully remodeled aqua theater with a new sea lion demonstration.

The Coney Island attraction suffered around $65 million in damage when it was severely flooded during Sandy.
