BROOKLYN - New York City's first baby of 2014 was born in Brooklyn at exactly midnight.

Shannon-Lee Willis was welcomed into the world at New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope.

She weighs 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and measures 19 inches long.

Her proud mother, Samantha Nieves, and father, Shannon Willis, live in Crown Heights.
