BROOKLYN - New York State has ranked first in the nation for the highest number of anti-Semitic incidents.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, New York City alone had 172 anti-Jewish acts reported in 2012, which is up from 127 the previous year.

Out of those crimes last year, 87 of them were reported in Brooklyn.

News 12 has reported several incidents of hateful graffiti, including swastikas found in Kensington, Willamsburg and Borough Park.
