BROOKLYN - The New York Transit Museum held the Special Day for Special Kids event on Sunday.

Admission was free for families with members who have special needs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids were able to take part in an art workshop, making their own trains.

Families were also able to explore the museum's newest exhibit, called "Transit on the Spectrum: The Art of Pure Vision." The work was created by artists who have autism and other developmental disorders.
