BROOKLYN - The New York Giants, as well as NFL teams across the league, paid tribute to the victims of the Newtown, Conn. shooting that left 20 children and six teachers dead.

Wide receiver Victor Cruz was touched after hearing that victim Jack Pinto, 6, was a fan. Cruz reached out to his parents and offered his condolences. He wrote Jack's name and "my hero" on his cleats before the afternoon game today against Atlanta.

Players and coaches were joined by their own children during on-field ceremonies in New Orleans, St. Louis, Chicago, Miami, and Atlanta.
