BROOKLYN - The mother accused of killing her daughter in the shocking Nixzmary Brown child abuse case asked a Brooklyn judge Wednesday to allow Christmas visitation with her other children.

Nixzaliz Santiago begged the judge after the Administration for Children?s Services denied visitation with her children at a Rikers Island holiday party. Santiago said it was painful to see other jailed mothers with their children, and she said she would like to prove she is a good mother.

Santiago?s husband, Cesar Rodriguez, again told the judge he and his wife were forced to confess and were only read their Miranda rights after being interrogated. The judge will soon rule on Rodriguez and Santiago?s earlier request to have confession tapes thrown out. News 12 Brooklyn has learned it is unlikely the judge will allow Santiago to see her children due to a court order restricting visitation.
