More than 800 Brooklyn students will have to find another way to get to school. The Department of Education says it?s cutting free school bus

BROOKLYN - More than 800 Brooklyn students will have to find another way to get to school. The Department of Education says it?s cutting free school bus service for seventh and eighth?grade students.

The DOE says cuts are necessary to save money and spare cuts within the classroom.

State law only requires free bus service for students through sixth-grade.
