ISLAMABAD - (AP) - Officials in Pakistan say no one survived thecrash of an airliner today near the capital, Islamabad.

The jet carrying 152 people crashed into the hills surroundingthe capital amid poor weather.

Local TV footage showed twisted metal wreckage hanging fromtrees and scattered across the ground on a bed of broken branches.Fire was visible and smoke rose from the scene as a helicopterhovered above. The army said it was sending special troops to aidthe search.

One rescue worker says all he's seen are body parts.

The search effort was hampered by muddy conditions andsmoldering wreckage that authorities were having troubleextinguishing by helicopter.

A civil aviation official says the plane left the southern cityof Karachi at 7:45 a.m., local time, for a two-hour scheduledflight to Islamabad.
