BROOKLYN - A Department of Education report has found no wrongdoing in the upstate drowning death of a Brooklyn student.

Jean Fritz Pierre died while on a class trip to Bear Mountain State Park back in June. The 16-year-old was a freshman at the International High School.

Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott says that there were sufficient chaperones along for the trip.

The report was conducted by the special commissioner of investigation for the New York City school system.
