CONEY ISLAND - The high school football season began Friday night in Coney Island.The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters, defending PSAL champions, hosted the DeWitt Clinton Governors. Lincoln defeated Clinton in last season's semifinals match-up.Since reopening their new turf field, the Railsplitters have posted a 16-0 record at home.The last team to repeat as PSAL champions was Fort Hamilton five years ago.
