NYC marching band making fresh uniform upgrade

BROOKLYN - A local marching band will sport new uniforms this fall thanks to a generous donation from candy maker Mentos. Recording artist Andy Grammer presented a $10,000 check to the All-City High School Marching Band, which features students from across the five boroughs. The band's uniforms have not been updated since the 1970s. The new fabrics have already been ordered and should arrive before the start of the school year.
