NYC radio reporter George Weber found dead

BROOKLYN - (AP) - Longtime New York City radio reporter GeorgeWeber was found dead in his apartment with a wound to hisneck.

Police say they found him at 9 a.m. Sunday inside his apartmenton Henry Street in Brooklyn. He was 50.

WABC-AM engineer Mike Caragliano confirms the victim was Weber,who had worked as a reporter at the station for 12 years. ABC RadioNetworks hired Weber last year.

Co-workers called police after becoming concerned that he hadnot shown up for work.

No arrests have been made.
