BROOKLYN - The MTA is being asked to communicate better with its riders.
A new report released by the New York City Transit Riders' Council found the transit agency to be inconsistent and confusing when letting commuters know about service changes.
The report, called "Every Which Way But Direct," was based on surveys taken by members of the council.

The council suggests the MTA place signs in more visible locations and remove them when service disruptions are no longer in effect. The MTA is also being asked to train employees better when updating and informing customers about service disruptions.
