EAST NEW YORK - Police say an East New York shooting on Wednesday killed one teen and injured another near Pennsylvania and Livonia avenues.
An 18-year-old was shot in the head and died, according to police, and a 17-year-old friend who was walking alongside him is in stable condition after a gunshot wound to his arm.
The shooting happened near P.S. 13 around the same time as class dismissal. School officials placed the building on lockdown, and parents had to wait to bring their children home.
