NYPD: 3 arrested in Central Park sex attack

NEW YORK - (AP) - Police have arrested two more men on charges of sexually attacking a woman in New York City's Central Park, and their accused accomplice has appeared in court.

The first man arrested, Robert Gonzalez, is being held on$50,000 bond after his arraignment Tuesday on attempted rape andother charges. Defense lawyer James Koenig says he believes"nothing forcible will be proven in this case."

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says Shawn Martinez and KevinDalrymple were arrested Tuesday on similar charges. It wasn'timmediately clear whether they had lawyers, and no telephonenumbers for them could be found.

All three men are 18.

Kelly says the 23-year-old woman met the men on a subwayplatform in the Bronx and traveled to the park with them.
