BROOKLYN - A 5-year-old boy fell to the ground from a fifth-floor balcony in Williamsburg Wednesday evening, police say.

The child was taken by a private ambulance from 200 Wallabout St. to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

He was identified as Shimon Meisels, of apartment 5C.
