BROOKLYN - Some NYPD officers have joined the latest social media dance spreading across the world.

The NYPD posted a video on its Facebook page Tuesday, saying officers have accepted the "Running Man Challenge" from New Zealand Police Recruitment.

The dance consists of one person challenging another person to dance to the Ghost Town DJ's 1996 hit "My Boo."

The NYPD has now challenged the FDNY, Boston Police Department and Scottish police to accept the challenge.
