BROOKLYN - ? The NYPD has started a citywide 24-hour enforcement initiative on drivers using cell phones on the road.

The initiative began at midnight on Tuesday. Police will be on the lookout for drivers talking or texting on their cell phones while behind the wheel.

Cops will hand out $130 tickets to anyone caught in the act.
