A joint NYPD-FDNY rescue team returned home Sunday after spending a week in Haiti.The task force was able to rescue six individuals from collapsed buildings

BROOKLYN - A joint NYPD-FDNY rescue team returned home Sunday after spending a week in Haiti.

The task force was able to rescue six individuals from collapsed buildings in Port-au-Prince. The officers say they are still shocked by what they saw during the rescue mission.

Fellow FDNY and NYPD officers greeted the volunteers at the airport as they arrived home.
