DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN - The NYPD welcomed its newest members this morning at a ceremony in Brooklyn.

For the first time, the graduation ceremony was held at the new Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn.

At the ceremony, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly announced that 2012 saw a record low for murders and shootings in New York City.
