NYPD: Hudson flyovers planned

NEW YORK - (AP) - The NYPD says flyovers are being conducting overthe Hudson River.

It says the first, one-hour flyover of a 1958, DC-7 sightseeingaircraft was planned for Thursday morning.

It was to travel south over the Hudson River to the VerrazanoBridge, then east toward Long Island, before returning to TeterboroAirport in New Jersey.

The same route is to be used Friday and Saturday.
