Police say no explosives were found in an unoccupied car left running beneath the Throgs Neck Bridge.The bridge was closed around 6:15 a.m. this morning

NEW YORK - Police say no explosives were found in an unoccupied car left running beneath the Throgs Neck Bridge.

The bridge was closed around 6:15 a.m. this morning while police investigated the vehicle. It has since been reopened.

The unoccupied car was a 2009 Nissan.

The span connects Queens and the Bronx.
