'Occupy Brownsville' aims to reduce gun violence

BROWNSVILLE - Protesters gathered at an "Occupy Brownsville" rally today in an effort to reduce gun violence.

Residents met at Pitkin Avenue and Watkins Street, the site where 34-year-old Zurana Horton, a mother of 12, was gunned down two weeks ago.

They say that they will march from Brownsville to Wall Street to ask elected officials for money from the city to fund community programs to help reduce gun violence.
