BROOKLYN - One of the officers guarding the scene of a police-involved shooting was hurt after another vehicle crashed into his car.

It happened at around 6:30 a.m. while officials were still investigating the wounding of a 16-year-old at 2294 Atlantic Ave.

The injured officer was rushed to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The driver of the other vehicle stayed on the scene.
