Officer James Li honored by NYPD after being shot in line of duty

BROOKLYN - The NYPD is honoring one of its own today who was shot in the line of duty.

Back in February, officer James Li and his partner saw a man getting on an MTA bus without paying. When they confronted him, police say 28-year-old Rashun Robinson shot at Li and hit him in both legs.

Li was released from the hospital two days after the shooting. Robinson faces a number of charges, including attempted murder.
