BUSHWICK - Police shot two pit bulls, killing one when they responded to a dispute at an apartment building Friday.

In just a few frantic moments on Central Avenue, police shot two pit bulls, and one of the fired bullets ricocheted and hit one of the officers in the leg.

That officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police were called to an apartment building after complaints of two roommates arguing. Authorities haven't made any arrests.
