Officers stripped of badges after alleged attack

BROOKLYN - The officers accused of assaulting and sodomizing a Brooklyn man have been assigned to desk duty, stripped of their guns and badges.

Michael Mineo says he was attacked and sodomized by four officers in October inside a Brooklyn subway station. A law enforcement official says that a transit officer is likely to support Mineo?s allegations.

The NYPD has denied this encounter and calls Mineo?s experience a "scuffle."
