CONEY ISLAND - Officers from around the borough reached out to the community Friday at a "Meet Your Police" event on Coney Island.

Officers from Transit District 34, which organized the event, as well as auxiliary and patrol officers spoke with the public.

They sought to share crime-prevention tips and information on how to register electronics in case of theft.
