BROOKLYN - Officials are reporting a police-involved shooting in Flatbush that left one man dead.

Officers responded to a 911 call about a stabbed female in her 30s and a male with a knife about 8:30 p.m.

Officers responded to 60 Clarkson Ave. and found a female stabbed in the chest on the second floor.  

The victim was was transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Officials report the armed male suspect was fatally shot by police and pronounced dead at the scene. They say two officers were at the scene at the time of the incident.

Witnesses told News 12 that the suspect and victim were husband and wife and that the suspect set fire to the building.
