Officials: 4 charged with child sex trafficking in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN - Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes today announced charges against four people in two separate child sex trafficking cases in the borough.

In the first case, officials say Gary Whitfield and Melinda Carmichael forced a 12-year-old to dance at clubs and have sex with men on the street.

In the second case, officials say Kendale Judge and Shanique Davis forced a 13-year-old girl into prostitution and also beat her whenever she tried to run away.

All four suspects face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
