BROOKLYN - A deadly Bushwick fire is now being investigated as suspicious.

Police say 25-year-old Lorena Escalera died early Saturday after a fire tore through her apartment at 47 Furman Ave.

Residents in the building told News 12 Brooklyn the fire started on the third floor and left the apartment completely gutted.
