BROOKLYN - Officials today released plans for the completion of the Brooklyn waterfront greenway.

The project, which was conceived 14 years ago, will create a 14-mile pathway that will run along Brooklyn's waterfront from Greenpoint to Sunset Park, connecting numerous neighborhoods.

The project was spearheaded by the community organization Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and will be funded by millions in grant money and federal tax dollars.
