BROOKLYN -  

Brooklyn residents were part of a global movement to end violence against women today.

One Billion Rising has the support of more than 160 countries, all to spread a message of anti-violence. More than 100 events took place across New York City.

At the Brooklyn Bridge, more than 100 activists joined in the worldwide message through marching and dancing.
