One Caribbean Radio to be recognized at annual ceremony

BROOKLYN - The Caribbean-American Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the work of One Caribbean Radio to celebrate National Caribbean Heritage Month. Over the past three years, the station has exposed its listeners to the vibrant Caribbean culture. Shortly after the Haitian earthquake, One Caribbean Radio lent its support to the relief and recovery efforts.

The chamber of commerce commends the station?s manager, Edmond Braithwaite, for his crew?s work in serving the Caribbean community as a whole. The station staff will formally receive the award next Friday, during a ceremony at Steiner Studios.
